How long do we as readers need to keep coming back hoping for a real story arc, done by the actual artist? I have tried to keep quiet for a long time now Jason, but when is enough enough? How long do i need to stand by for YOU to put out a new page?
wow wow Disgruntled, what kind of a comment is that!? That`s really rude and uncalled for, and I wonder if you read the articles and posts because Jason keeps us updated very well.
He`s busy making a new chapter as we speak, plus he`s busy shipping out the Kickstarter rewards and the ordered books. Those people have actually PAID for their content, don`t you agree they deserve the quality of a well designed book and fast delivery? All the while you can read the comics, tutorials, articles and guest comics here for free.
I don`t think you realize what a huge amount of work it is to make a webcomic, posting tutorials and at the same time self publish a book. Also, Jason has a day job. I don`t know how he does it, but I tip my hat at that much professionalism.
And while we wait while the new content is being made, there is beautiful guest art for us to enjoy. So I don`t see ANY reason to complain.
OH!! I LOVE you! I could not have said it ANY BETTER!!!
I understand your frustration especially with a name like Disgruntled. As HenrikeD said, I’m busy working on the second book now and only when it’s ready to start showing will I start posting it. I could always throw it together but then I doubt that anyone would care to see it. I don’t plan to start posting the new book until later this year so it would probably be best to just give yourself a reminder on your November calendar to check back and see if it started. The last thing I want you to become is disgruntled because of me. :) But I appreciate that you want to see more so badly.
A very gracious answer, Jason!
What a Douche……
I was talking about Disgruntled, not you Jason….. lol
Woah. Somebody is just a mite ungrateful… especially considering all of the hard work (good work, too) that has been put into this project. You have the privilege of seeing all of this for FREE. You are not a paying customer. You cannot make demands that are nothing short of absolutely unreasonable. This whole work, in all its brilliance, is a gift.
In short, you are not Disgruntled- You are Unthankful, Disgraceful, Impatient, Impertinent, and more than a little Rock-Headed.
So, the next time that you get the feeling that you should poke and prod the gift horse in the mouth, just please keep your itchy fingers off of the keyboard and shut up.
These guest pages are absolutely beautiful! Love the more realistic Victuals and the last panel is gorgeous!
Max, These pages are beautiful!
Jason, The book is beautiful! …As soon as my little girls are old enough to not climb/bonk-into a coffee table, and not tear apart/scribble-in every book they come across – I will actually get a coffee table and put this book on it!
Fabulous art! thanks for giving us such a great substitute with a little GREAT BIG) help from a friend!
Thank you everyone (even you Disgruntled, I know you love me most of all)! I really had a lot of fun doing these. HenrikeD, spot on. It’s a ton of work to wear a lot of hats at once, and not to mention very heavy as well.
I love Jason’s art, in fact, I think ReMind is one of the best of its type on the net, but this guest art is absolutely brilliant! Thank you, Max Miller, for this beautiful page.
You got it! Please everyone bear with me as me and the web maestro get the kinks ironed out of my site. Just bookmark it and check back soon, everything will be running smooth and regular, I promise.
