Ya know, I was beginning to wonder how big their brains were if ALL of his mother’s brain was crammed into just ONE tiny rat… o:

Glad that was cleared up. ;3

To paraphrase Ernest P. Worell, I do recommend lobster.

I wonder how big is that creature that the claw belongs to.

That second rat panel is priceless hahaha!

I’m also loving the design of incorporating of the silhouettes on the side.

Is it wrong to be laughing? I guess that Rat had me guffawing so much I kind of saw the follow-up violence as comedic instead of “uhoh” scary xD

Oh, cool…are we going to have two Victuals side by side in the near future? Terrific pencil, ink, & color–so much better than mine altho I am slowly coming along. In a year, maybe, I would not be ashamed to show you my work to have a chance at the tres cool job. thanx.

That ‘Smash’ kinda looks like ‘Smask’, just sayin’.

And since this is my first comment, I have to say this: Awesome graphic novel!

This page is full of win. Full of win is this page.

Hmmm, the spine is going to go right through the panel with the rat screaming. *meh* I seem to recall its being printed in a way which will allow you to see it easily.

But yeah. That would be something funky if we suddenly discover that both Victuals and his mother had different parts of their brains transferred to different animals rather than the whole thing. Way-to-go Jason for throwing that curveball in the same picture that we see Victuals knocked out.

At least I presume he’s been knocked out. Would be kind of cool to see a super-suit VS giant-crab fight.

Thanks man! Yeah, I battled with that rat frame to make it not go through the fold but it ended up winning.

Glad you like the twists too. hehe.

Yeah. I’ll put my theory down as King Erats being in the rat which is back with Sonja rather than the brains getting cut up into multiple animals.

It was a bit of a wonder about how his mum knew about cats when she was lying asleep on the chess board. I sort of just presumed she’d heard them in her sleep but…

        I’m probably wrong *shrug*

    Speaking of nuts…

There is a large structure on the seabed. We don’t know how much area it covers, but from the climbing scenes it appears tall enough to give spiderman a nosebleed. The whole thing is hidden (except for some air bubbles and “pretty lights”) under the surface, meaning the water is, to make an understatement, very deep.
This humongous deep is found, not far out at sea but within a cat’s leap from the lighthouse. Which from the establishing shot at the beginning appears to be surrounded by shallow water.
    It gets better (?).
A cat person weaing a suit without a helmet dives to the bottom of this deep without getting crushed by the water pressure, and his face fur remains bone dry during and after the dive.
I’m no expert on either of these things, but this sounds pretty nuts to me.
