I guess, that was one of the possible outcomes, eh?
would be funny, or maybe not, if that thing ran out of fuel half a meter from the ceiling or somethin :D

Well he is standing on a rig that is connected to something above. It probably doesn't ascend as fast as Victuals would like though.

It's funny, after reading so many great ideas from the previous page comments about what should happen in this spread I started wishing I didn't write and draw it until after I read all of the ideas that people commented.

I love hearing all the ideas out there!

*meh* who doesn't like giving their two bubbles worth on a story? ;)

Seriously, great page and result though. Swing through the ropes and kick them right out. Agree with Biligum. Most hilarious reassurance I've ever heard.

P.S. the rope through the top of the 3rd panel is a nice little trick as well.

One tiny note: "halfway" is one word.

I absolutely love this page — particularly the panel where we can see the lizards falling. It's beautifully done, and their silhouettes are delightfully stylized. Great work, as always!

But it doesn’t half (ha ha) to be.

That is undoubtedly the most hilarious reassurance I’ve ever heard.

Although, actually, I think it’s possibly to die when falling because your mind can’t handle it and your body goes into shock or something, so…

Oh wow…I wonder what's going to happen next. It's getting suspenseful.

I like the attention paid to little details, like one of the cables supporting the platform getting twisted round a bent piece of railing.
I keep wondering how he managed to pull out that harpoon from the bottom of the platform though, even with super-strength.

Sorry, I just didn't get to them yet. I was planning on doing them all at the same time but then a whirl wind of deadlines started hitting me. I still plan on finishing it someday though. Maybe I should remove the fake links until they are live.

Just curious, (just found the comic, so perhaps this was already asked); why doesn't 'Victuals' go by his 'real' name (lizard name) since it's his brain in the cat?

Will be adding this to my bookmarks. Excellent work!

I kinda wanted to make it so he went through a transformation of mind, so to speak. Where he had to give up trying to be 'himself' before he could move on.

      Glad you enjoy it.

    OKOKOKOKOI.
I've just found reMIND a couple days ago so all my lovely comments are going RIGHT HERE ON PAGE 110-111!

    1) I'm loving reMIND!!! You're style is definitely unique, and the colouring makes it stand out a ton. I love Sonja's look, and can't wait to find out how exactly Victuals is gunna get his body back. Or will his lizard-lady love him even if he's a kitty?

    2) I REALLY REALLY liked reading all the tutorials and articles you had up about making an online graphic novel/publishing. Thank you!

    3) Cheers, good luck, and much awesomeness to you B)

It sounds like Victuals’ “cushioning” comment was put in to comfort the readers more than the lizards.
