@Mitzimom: I read "braw-jar" as a slang version of "brother". Not sure it's an actual name; we'll see .-)

That lizard kid should not be that mind-numbingly adorable, but he is!

@il biggo I read it as Bran-Jar. Still see it, is that just me?

Wonder how long it’ll take the kid to figure out that Victuals called him by name?

Haha yep it's Bran-Jar, not braw-jar. WHO SAYS I NEED GLASSES?!

The kid might look a bit creepy when you start thinking about it, but on first impression he comes off as just adorably cute. I think the contrast between the realism of the human world above and the more cartoony/surreal of the lizard world below works out perfectly!

Just come across this strip. The drawing and colouring are beautiful, especially the light. And I do like the textures you use.

Story-wise, while it's weird, it hangs together well – you feel that, even if we don't know what's going on, it all makes sense really.

Thanks for all the comments! I was especially worried that this spread wouldn’t be accepted very well because of it’s cartoony simplicity. The story is another part that I’m always worried if people will get, so it’s nice to hear positive things about it as well. Thanks again everyone!!!

One: I love the kid. He's great!
Two: My "I've seen the Lizard Man" shirt came in today and I was ecstatic! I appreciate how personal it looked– bubble wrap envelope, hand written in blue pen, shirt folded nicely in a Brawny bag. It was generally an awesome experience, haha!

And, by blue pen, I mean Sharpie marker.

That is so something a kid would say. Great job again this week Jason.

    AHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
    I LOVE Bran-Jar!
He is adorable, his facial expressions are priceless!
He reminds me of some little kid at his first comic-con! "Coolest costume ever!" LOL!
