Thanks all! I knew some of you would like the SUPER RED. If this book wasn't so washed out it might fit rather nicely. Maybe my next graphic novel can toy with more colors.

I love the SUPER RED version! Thanks for posting it! :) I'd never tape it over your final decision though. Besides with back lighting, there's going to be some extreme cast shadow. I can just imagine for myself that his local color is the super red. Oh and your final staging on the left page is so much more dramatic than the original. Love it!

I think the super red crab really defines his presence. And the contrast works really well in the area with both of them standing together. Of course your 'final' version is good and it is just as easy to tell what is going on in the 'shot'. Super red is just a little bit more obvious and distinct.

That is certainly SUPER RED. Final version is great, though. Nice and ominous.

Yello. Came over here from Phoenix Requiem. Have to say, Love your art style. I'm a big fan of manga and graphic novels. Can't wait till yours comes out in hardcover, I'm truly in-love with the style. Storyline is very intriguing too.

Oh – and I prefer the non-super red version. Keeps eyeballs intact.

Haa, the SUPER RED version is great. Thanks for sharing. :D

But, yeah. The one you ended up with looks a lot better. Since the colors are mostly subdued, the SUPER RED sticks out like a sore thumb… which, coincidentally, may be that very same color.
